Being a freelance designer has unique challenges. As freelancers, not only must we navigate through what bookings to take, what days we want to work, and what we get paid, but we also need to know the client’s expected style. Somebody once told me I was a fabulous Boho designer, and that they were able to recognize what designs were mine. I was shocked because I would never consider Boho my go-to style. However, I realized this could benefit my freelance work by not pigeonholing myself into one design style.
