Everyone is a beginner at some point; mine happened to be long ago—34 years! Teaching a new, basic florist class brings us back to those humble beginnings. Being experienced, we take advantage of our wide variety of knowledge, be it how to cut flowers or how to upsell an arrangement. Our wealth of expertise allows prudence and wisdom to come naturally to us. Realizing and understanding our skill level is important to teach our new fellow florists.
